Last minute goal Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC 2-3 Beşiktaş JK

Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC 2-3 Beşiktaş JK
Ricardo Quaresma smashed in his second of the night at the death as the Black Eagles recovered from letting a two-goal lead slip.

Ricardo Quaresma struck deep into added time to put Beşiktaş JK within an ace of the UEFA Europa League round of 32 after Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC had battled back from two goals down in Group E.
Quaresma picked up the ball on the edge of the box and eluded a host of challenges before powering the ball past Barak Levy in the Maccabi goal. The Portuguese forward had put his side ahead at the end of the first half, with İbrahim Toraman doubling the lead just after the restart, but goals from Sheran Yeini and Moshe Logasi looked to have earned Motti Iwanir's side a point.
The Israeli side will finish bottom of the section, while the Black Eagles take on Stoke City FC on matchday six needing a point to be certain of playing European football in the spring.
Quaresma's absent-minded pass on the edge of the area invited Roberto Colautti in on goal inside three minutes, and while Cenk Gönen saved, Beşiktaş looked cumbersome until, with the half-time whistle looming, Fabian Ernst swung a ball in from the left which the onrushing Quaresma volleyed first time past Levy. Further punishment followed for the lively Maccabi after the break as Manuel Fernandes's corner picked out İbrahim to nod in at the near post.
Maccabi did not despair, though. Beşiktaş failed to clear a corner, and Sheran Yeini's hopeful flick to a bouncing ball in the box snuck past Cenk. Substitute Moshe Logasi was then allowed time to wind up for a shot with 20 minutes to go, and sent a swerving effort past Cenk from over 20 metres to bring it back to 2-2.
From then on it was anyone's game, but Quaresma – a menace throughout – was to have the final word.

FC Pinzgau - BEŞİKTAŞ : 0-8 (Rabona "Letra" and "Trivela" Goal )

Bebe, Simao, Quaresma and Almeida all score in pre-season friendlies

Several of Besiktas’ Portuguese contingent found themselves on the scoresheet following their two pre-season friendlies versus Austrian Third Division opposition.
Newcomer Bebe scored in the 3-1 win over Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday, and Simao, Quaresma (two) and Almeida scored in the 8-0 victory over FC Pinzgau Saalfelden on Thursday. Sidnei, another of Besiktas’ new signings, on loan from Benfica, also added a goal in the rout.
The Turkish club has spent the last couple of weeks in Leogang, Austria, training for the upcoming season. Numerous additions have been made during this offseason and expectations will be very high for the club, which now boasts a total of five Portuguese players.

Simao, signed last year from Atletico Madrid, had this to say about Besiktas’ training camp: “Having most foreign newcomers speak Portuguese is definitely an advantage. It shortens the adaptation period. Every day we are blending together as a unit and getting ready to face the upcoming challenges. We are fully committed to win everything in our way this season.”
Besiktas are bringing their pre-season training camp to a close, and will be travelling to Spain to face Granada CF and Atletico Madrid in a 3-team tournament. Two 45 minute halves are scheduled on July 21st, before Besiktas return to Istanbul on the 22nd.

Real Madrid invites Besiktas Istanbul for preseason friendly

Besiktas Istanbul gets an invitation from Real Madrid for a preseason friendly match at Santiago Bernabeu.

Besiktas Istanbul drew quite an attraction last season, when the turkish giants made star signings like  Ricardo Quaresma, Simao Sabrosa, Hugo Almeida and ex Real Madrid captain Guti Hernandez. Last season Besiktas also put ex Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster in the managing seat.
Although the outcome in success wasn’t as brilliant as the transfers themselves, Besiktas Chairman Yildirim achieved one of his ultimate goals : To make Besiktas Istanbul a renowned football team and raise the popularity and reputation of the club.

Besiktas Real Madrid : Good Relations through Jorge Mendes ?

Chairman Demiroren is known to have a good relations with prominent footballer agent Jorge Mendes, who in fact is the agent of many Real Madrid and Besiktas players, including the star Christiano Ronaldo. Besiktas Chairman Yildirim Demiroren and Christiano Ronaldo are also good friends, since the duo plan to build a hotel in Portugal as partners.

Real Madrid turkish players, ex Real Madrid captain Guti : Good assets for Real Madrid Besiktas Friendly Game

Turkey midfielder Hamit Altıntop joined last month German-Turkish compatriots Nuri Şahin and Mesut Özil at Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, increasing the number of players of turkish origin to three.
With these connections between both clubs its not suprising that Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez ve manager Jose Mourinho find it fitting to invite the turkish side Besiktas to Madrid for a preseason friendly game, where Guti Hernandez could meet Real Madrid fans, who still adore their ex-captain, where Real Madrid ‘s turkish players have the opportunity to play against their compatriots.

Goal.com: "Atletico Madrid line up €20m offer for Besiktas' Ricardo Quaresma"

"Atletico Madrid has launched a shock move for Besiktas winger Ricardo Quaresma, according to reports from Turkey.

Lig TV claims Atleti submitted a €20 million bid for the Portuguese star's services, which was allegedly rejected by Besiktas, who are demanding a fee closer to €30m.

The Spanish giants are also said to be considering another approach for Galatasaray captain Arda Turan as they prepare to overhaul their squad in the summer.

Besiktas and Atleti have enjoyed good relations recently, with Simao Sabrosa moving to Turkey in January from the Vicente Calderon.

While Turan is though to remain their first-choice target, a move for Quaresma could still be possible, with The Black Eagles interested in the capital club's unsettled striker Diego Forlan, who could potentially be included in the deal."

Portugal vs Finland

Portugal secured a 2-0 victory over Finland in an international friendly and they had debutant Ruben Micael to thank as he score one in each half to give his country a victory in a fast-paced match that they dominated.
Micael opened the scoring after 10 minutes, sliding in at the far post to tap in a Ricardo Quaresma cross to net his first international goal. Minutes later, they came close again, Raul Meireles taking a ferocious free kick, but Real Madrid defender Pepe wasn’t able to score from the rebound after a nervous moment for the Finnish.
Finland were not totally unable to create an opening in the first half hour, as they started to string some passes together, and their first chance fell to Henrik Daniel Sjolund, who scooped a difficult volley over the bar. Minutes later Alexei Eremenko had a shot which tested Eduardo in the Portugal goal. The shot-stopper survived a scare when he misplaced a pass in his own box, but Pepe was able to clean up for his ‘keeper.
Portugal finished the half strongly, with Quaresma’s runs causing problems for the Finnish defence, and on one typical Portuguese break, Quaresma snatched at a volley, slicing his shot wide.
Portugal continued to create openings in the second half. Quaresma flashed a ball across the face of goal, but there was no one to tap it in, and Pepe put a header over from a corner a moment later. In the 56th minute, they missed a golden opportunity. Following more quick passing, Hugo Almeida opted to try and back-heel a Nelson cross when he could have easily taken a touch, though replays showed him to be offside.
Portugal finally got a second goal in the 71st Minute. Nani, on as a substitute for Quaresma
