Per quanto riguarda la Roma, tutto nasce da un interesse da parte dei nerazzurri per il brasiliano Julio Baptista; infatti, nel caso in cui l'Inter non riuscisse a strappare Wesley Sneijder al Real Madrid, potrebbe tentare di prelevare dalla Roma l'attaccante brasiliano e, se dovesse iniziare una trattativa tra le due società, la Roma potrebbe chiedere Quaresma come contropartita tecnica.
